Our 1.6T optical core network will significantly enhance bandwidth, stability, and energy efficiency, while markedly reducing latency. It will also serve as a critical foundation for future MetroNet service upgrades.

Looking ahead, this upgrade will enable HKBN to become Hong Kong’s first broadband service provider ready for the F6G (Sixth Generation Fixed Network) standard, soon to be released by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute.
