Paying It Forward with Our Cybersecurity Expertise

Great power comes with greater responsibilities. As part of HKBN’s leadership in digital, networking and information security, we recently expanded our technology responsibilities to our communities and conducted free cyber risk assessments for 50 Social Profit Organisations (SPOs). Our findings revealed that 32% of SPOs were at medium to high levels of risk from hacking and cyber-attacks – threats which could potentially affect their operations, as well as the beneficiaries they serve.

Empowering SPOs with Pro Bono Consultation Services and Cybersecurity Workshops
To pay it forward by helping those who serve and enable our communities, our team of volunteers will now be providing pro bono IT & cybersecurity consultation services for SPOs. Organisations interested in participating can email csi@hkbn.com.hk. Plus, starting next month, we’ll also hold free cybersecurity preparatory workshops aimed at SPOs.
