COVID's New Wave: Our Guide to Work From Home Better
|
After months of minimal COVID cases, Hong Kong has recently been hit by a spate of local infections. But thanks to transformations made long ago, our company is better and more agile for this sudden change – and starting today many of our Talents are safely working from home (WFH), leveraging digital technologies and tools to perform duties just like they would in the office!
And since we haven’t had to collectively work remotely in a while, we thought it’d be great to refresh our Talents with some WFH productivity guidelines – ensuring our service and professionalism remain top notch! You can check it out below (it can be a handy reference for your business, too).

In summary our key WFH tips include:

Dress professionally, at least from the top-up, and turn on the camera for better engagement; remember a video call is far more communicative than audio-only, so make the most of today’s video capabilities. If your background is unsuitable for video, use optional background effects.

Keep your working area clean and neat AND avoid working at a cozy area like on a sofa or bed.

|
Stay focused: core working hours 10:00-16:30 hours include a 1-hour lunch. Be prepared and expect unscheduled video calls, as you would if you were in the office.

In short, treat WFH with the same seriousness and respect as if working from the office.
