HKBN Touts Game-changing Barter Flexibility with Marketing Blitz

Extraordinary times call for opportune measures. As businesses operate amid uncertainty and look for ways to reduce OPEX and improve revenues, we introduced a game-changing Barter & Bundle strategy that takes things to another level. Rather than merely save money, our Barter & Bundle approach enables enterprises to make money together with us. In exchange for our range of ICT solutions, businesses can offset part of their payment with their own goods and services, which in turn are used to engage our over 1 million customer base as value-added bonus rewards, discount coupons and even standalone sales offers – thereby driving incremental sales opportunities for our respective barter partners. Thanks to such win-win flexibility, it’s no surprise that we’re striking many break-through long-term deals, including many with a wide range of large restaurant groups, wellness retail chains and many more.

To spark greater awareness and attract even more barter customers, this July we rolled out a campaign featuring outdoor billboards at the heart of Hong Kong’s high-traffic thruways in Causeway Bay and the Hung Hom Cross Harbour Tunnel. Sharing a tantalising message that asks customers to barter with us, our billboards follow a multi-channel April marketing blitz of print ads, advertorials, digital online banners and social media messaging.

Through this exchange strategy, even our billboards were resourcefully bartered with POAD, a leader in outdoor advertising, in exchange for our ICT and digital transformation solutions.

To help spread the word, our Barter & Bundle marketing campaign was heavily featured in print newspapers, online channels and social media.

This month, our Barter & Bundle flexibility is showcased with an outdoor billboard brandished across Sino Plaza, a high visibility commercial location in the busy hub of Causeway Bay, and another outdoor billboard (pictured above) overlooking the Hung Hom Cross Harbour Tunnel entrance, a mega traffic thruway linking Hong Kong Island with Kowloon.
