In less than 3 weeks since the formal closing of our merger with WTT on 30 April, we held All-Talent Townhall meetings for all our 4,500 Talents in Hong Kong and Guangzhou. As separate entities HKBN was #2 in Residential fixed-line solutions and WTT was #2 in local Enterprise solutions, but now combined, we aspire to overtake HKT’s revenues over time to become #1; hence “#2 + #2 = #1”.
William, Co-Owner and Executive Vice-chairman and NiQ, Co-Owner and Group CEO said, “At HKBN, we dare to aspire to overtake HKT’s revenues over time, i.e. we are no longer satisfied with just being #2 in Hong Kong. As we grow our business, there will be plenty of career opportunities and wealth creation via alignments such as Co-Ownership, pain/GAIN, performance-based commission, etc., as per our track record with the integrations of Y5Zone in 2013, NWT in 2016 and ICG in 2018 so far.”
Billy, Co-Owner and CEO of HKBN Enterprise Solutions & WTT said, “We are the only carrier in Hong Kong that can offer a true tri-versity network by delivering better-than-the-best of HKBN, NWT and WTT networks combined. We are looking forward to invoking creative disruption on industry legacy inefficiencies and bringing our customers surpassing performance and cost-savings.”
