HKBN Enterprise Solutions FY18 KickAss KickOff

Yesterday, we held a Townhall meeting for our Enterprise Solutions (ES) business, to celebrate our FY17 achievements (our fiscal year ends in August for cheaper audit fees!) and mark our FY18 KickAss KickOff.
Over the past 3-4 years, we’ve been building our ES jigsaw with the acquisition of Y5Zone in 2013 and New World Telecom in 2015 such that we now have a complete business with plenty of excess fibre network capacity, acquired at well below replacement costs. Already, in FY17, we achieved incredible milestones and growth that would’ve been impossible pipedreams prior to the full integration of our acquisitions.

“The Hong Kong enterprise telecommunication solutions industry has matured and with upcoming price aggression, we are likely to see overall industry revenue contraction. At only about 5% ES industry revenue share, we have very little to lose and far more to gain from an industry share reshuffle. As such, the only way to achieve our long-term aspiration of doubling our ES revenue base by FY20, is to take market share from our adjacent competitors.”
