Dear Friends of HKBN
Learning from the Top Brass of JP Morgan & CVC

All too many interns, in companies of every kind, spend their summer days slogging over the photocopying machine. While there is a different kind of expectation for corporate trainees, more often than not the emphasis is narrow and dry favoring operational training over dynamic all-around development.
At HKBN, going that extra mile to challenge our Talents through extraordinary experiences and learning opportunities unlike anything out there remains a proud hallmark of our company culture.
In shaping both our Graduate Trainee and Summer Internship programmes, we strive to preside over as many inspiring or even life-changing experiences as possible. Amongst them, we recently visited JP Morgan’s Asia Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong for a full day joint workshop hosted by our friends at JP Morgan and CVC. Thoughtfully organised for the benefit of our 7 graduate technical trainees and 11 summer interns, the workshop offered each participant an important early career exposure to how the respective top brass of JP Morgan and CVC handle and manage their success. |

Beyond introducing the many aspects of both businesses, which delivered a full picture perspective on investment banking and private equity across a range of pertinent topics, the interactive sessions put our participants in an enviable position to learn from some of industry’s biggest movers and shakers, including JP Morgan’s Asia Pacific Chairman and CEO, Nicolas Aguzin. |
