Our AI Future Unpacked at HKBN’s Townhall

As the world asks what can AI really do for us? At Wednesday’s HKBN Townhall, we answered by uniting our team (both in-person and virtually) with a singular focus: AI as a value-creation engine for our business and customers.

Our President and Group COO, Dr. Denis Yip, kicked things off with an inspiring overview of AI’s transformative potential. Then came Professor Charleston Sin, a distinguished ICT and AI expert (across both business and academia), who decoded the AI trends that are reshaping industries.

But the Townhall wasn’t just about ideas. Our senior leaders also shared how AI is already driving HKBN forward – and will keep advancing. For example:

• Our soon-to-launch in-house DeepSeek AI platform will empower our employees to work smarter with a competitive-advantage in their workflows and productivity. For our customer acquisition teams, DeepSeek AI will also enable surgical accuracy – analysing each interaction to determine the right approach, timing, and most valuable offerings for every lead.

• Responding to skyrocketing enterprise AI demand, we've scaled our solutions portfolio, ranging from sales of high-performance METAX GPUs and high-performance liquid-cooled data centre services to bespoke system integration + AI solutions – enabling businesses to automate with greater precision, power and value.

Our Townhall closed with a snapshot of our Enterprise and Residential Solutions businesses, and the momentum is strong. As we harness AI to unlock efficiency for our operations and next-gen solutions for customers, HKBN isn’t just keeping up – we’re setting the standard in Hong Kong’s AI landscape.
