The inaugural Netflix ISP Speed Index for nine countries and regions in Asia is now out with data for April 2016. We are proud to announce that we have been ranked number 1 in Hong Kong with a 3.64 Mbps average monthly speed, making us the only local ISP to exceed Hong Kong’s average of 3.35 Mbps. Considered a handy tool for consumers, the Netflix ISP Speed Index is determined by measuring Netflix’s performance during prime time hours over a particular Internet Service Provider. In general, a faster speed index means a better overall experience in picture quality, quicker start times and fewer interruptions, according to Netflix.
